According to the Daily Northwestern, Northwestern went up by 8%. It doesn’t specify whether it’s ED, RD, or a combination, though.

Okay, even though the Chicago Tribune reported a 7% gain for Northwestern, I’ll use the 8% figure because it is from the Daily Northwestern.

Any more? I’m curious to know about increases/flat/decreases. I looked at the Papa Chicken thread from last year on Post #1, and it looks like there was either more info available this time last year, or just more interest on the board. It makes me wonder if there were declines that colleges are reluctant to release.

Anyone know the application growth at Vassar? I heard (from the VC president at a recent presentation) that the ED apps were up 5%, but she didn’t say what the overall rate was this year, other than to say the rate was up for the 3rd year in a row.

There’s conflicting info about the U of California system. While the LA Times says up 2.4%, the Mercury News says that it is up 6%. Until the discrepancy is resolved, I will list the U of California system as up 2-6%.

San Jose Mercury: 2.4% for freshman only; 6% including transfer. Not sure if the listed figures for other schools include transfers or not, probably is not worth the effort to find out. Thanks.
