Does anyone else have that status still? I have no clue what it means. I feel like i'm one of the only people who still haven't got an answer and I'm really starting to worry! My application itself was received on September 29 and my 1st semester grades got there like the end of January. I applied for the Faculty of Arts and also Mangement. My grades are good. I take all honors and AP courses. I've heard from most all my other schools, just not McGill (my 1st choice). Anyone in the same situation?

Stephanie, a lot of people (including me) are in the same situation as u...but does ur thing say "Further Review Required" or "Reviewed-Decision Pending"?

hahaha...i just realized for more information you could click on the admission term! For both of mine it says "Reviewed- Decision Pending." I was wondering why i was the only person whose application didn't specify the status! lol I just don't understand how people are getting their decisions in a matter of hours and others have gone weeks with still no answer. I'm sure, for me it's probably because my SAT and ACT scores are low. I actually had no idea so many Americans were interested in McGill. Where I live, here in Florida, like no one has even heard of McGill (unless they're a doctor). I just knew about it because my dad was born in Mtl and all my family lives there. Anyway, it's a little more comforting knowing others are in the same position as me!

I have that status too, as do a number of others... I haven't really seen it for arts. Have you sent in your semester grades?

You might have come close to the cut off for one of the sections on the SAT; I only got a 630 on the verbal section and I'm on it. I don't think it's bad or good, from what I've found on google people last year had to wait 2-5 weeks. This year's different though so I don't know. I've had it for five weeks and it sucks (I'm in six schools, but this is my first choice).

hey look, another one :P

What's the "better" status: further review required or reviewed decision pending.

I am kind of confused because my midterm grades were received on February 25 and I am still at Further Review Required. Shouldn't I be Reviewed decision pending or ADMITTED? How long did it take for other applicants to be updated after all their stuff was in?

Thanks

My D was Further Review Required for several weeks. Her midyear grades were posted on Feb 20 and she was accepted to arts on Feb 29.

yeah i have that too. I got accepted to the faculty of agriculture & environmental sciences but my status for the faculty of arts has been "reviewed- Decision pending" for a week

ahhhcollege: yeah, they've received my semester grades...and you're probably right because my SATs werent so great (i'm a REALLY bad timed test-taker).

I wish McGill looked at more than just grades and scores...too bad they don't want letters of rec or an essay or something along those lines...and i also wished they took extrcurriculars into consideration, but whatever i guess i'll just have to wait and see...

stephanie12 - i'm a bad test-taker too! i'm in a similar situation as you...lots of AP's, solid GPA, but still decision-pending. i think my SAT scores could be why mine's been decision-pending for weeks too :(

ahhhcollege - does McGill superscore your SAT? I hope they do :S i did fine on CR and M for my first one (high 600s) but low (610) on W. then on my second one i completely bombed CR and M (both low 600s) but got a 700 for W. if they superscore it, it'll easily break 2000, but are those CW and M scores going to drastically affect everything?

I don't know what to think. My status is "Ready for Review".
