Applications to Union climb to a new record

"Applications to Union have topped 7,000 for the first time, the highest number submitted for any individual class in the College’s history.

Nearly 7,500 students applied to join the Class of 2024, a 23 percent jump from the 6,086 who applied last year.

More than 2,600 students applied through early action, which is expected to broaden and diversify Union’s applicant pool by adding more academically talented students from across a wider geographic range. It also allows the College to compete with other top schools that offer early action." …

At the time that we visited last year my DD loved the school and we planned to apply RD as were not aware of the EA until DD’s college counselor informed her that the decision was made fairly recently. She applied and was accepted with merit. Very exciting. We are still awaiting RD decisions so we have not made a final decision yet.
