Applications up or down?

<p>Many state schools and full-need privates have seen record numbers of applicants, probably due to a combination of the demographic crest and the economic meltdown.</p>

<p>What about NYU with its notorious financial aid? Have applications decreased?</p>

<p>No; number of applicants has gone up to 37,000.</p>

<p>nope. we used to be “number one dream school” but now that ranking has dropped. we’re still number one in “students dissatisfied with financial aid”.</p>
