<p>Well, I’m saying that the number of applications to Andover is actually down by 60 or 1.9% from last year. The surge of international applications obviously can’t explain the decrease. Given that some schools are still seeing applications going up, I wonder why it seems that Andover has already reached its “bottleneck”. Is 14% admit rate low enough to be a major deterrent factor?</p>
<p>Loomis posted it received 1,600 applicants. Mercersburg posted it received 800 applicants.</p>
