<p>When do applications for colleges officially come out

how much do they change every year ,especially the essays...
I want to get a jump start on filling out applications, but I dont know how much of it would be a waste of time...

<p>If you use the Common Application, it does not change much from year-to-year. Do that without doing the individual suplements and you'll be fine.</p>

<p>they stay the same for the CA....plus you can tweak essays to fit prompts as well. Just remember that some colleges change their supplementry essay topics.</p>
