Can I cancel my application after applying to early decision if I want?
Which school? I am sure you can email the school and let them know you changed your mind. If you would prefer to not be considered for ED, you can always ask them to change the application to RD.
For SF state and cal poly. I sent an email to both asking to cancel my applications, and was wondering if they actually can.
SF state does not have early decision, only Cal Poly SLO. SLO ED decisions have been posted, so if you were not admitted, you were deferred. So you want to cancel your applications for both schools completely?
Only Cal Poly SLO offers ED. If you weren’t accepted, your ED contract is cancelled. If you were accepted, you’re required to enroll.
