I applied in October and still haven’t heard back. I have a 3.7 gpa and a 27 act. I started hearing about kids with lower stats applying later than me and getting accepted sooner. I called admissions to see why it was taking so long and the lady told me I should be informed by this week, but my application still says evaluation. I have been waiting for over 3 months now an I would like to know where I will be attending college at this point and am getting extremely frustrated! I applied to pre nursing so idk if that is why it’s taking so long or if that could jepordize my chances of getting in. Is no news good news at this point or are they just waiting to send rejections/ deferences out? I would love any info

i applied october 14 … i still haven’t heard back either. super lame.

Did you guys finally hear back?

I still haven’t heard and emailed an admissions counselor and aske how much longer it will be, and he replied saying it takes longer during this time of year and to continue to check my status. So I guess no news is good news bc if they wanted to defer me they would have already.

I wouldn’t worry… with the holiday break and such, there’s little reason to be alarmed. Hang in there!

Realize that OSU doesn’t admit strictly based on ACT, GPA, etc. They factor in ECs/essays BIG TIME and really evaluate an applicant circumstantially.

With this abstract admissions process, decisions take much, much longer to make.

You’re right in the middle tier of those being admitted, I can almost guarantee you’ll get in considering when you applied, and what you applied with. Congrats ahead of time! O-H!

I was denied from osu main campus today. I hope everyone else who was waiting get accepted! Good luck!
