Anyone else who applied or got accepted for fall 09? Just trying to get a thread started.

yeah, via immediate/instant decision. you?

Congrats static!!!

It took about a month before I found out i got in.

I chose to apply because of their great engineering program, proximity to nyc, good faculty, and their nice small campus. I know it’s a tech school but i didn’t realize that the male-female was that bad (4:1). That & cost, im oos, are my major factors before i confirm enrollment.

So why did u choose to apply to njit?

congrats to you too! :)

haha… they got me a pretty good scholarship. commute is easy, nyc ftw, and according to some of the admissions people I talked to, people (altho very few) have in the past transferred out of NJIT into schools like MIT. I guess it’s reassuring to know that my high school grades haven’t screwed me over entirely

I don’t mind the 4:1 male-to-female ratio…b/c I’m female :P

Static75: What were your stats?

at the time, it was a 2160 SAT – 800 math, 640 CR, 720 writing
my GPA is/was a 3.7 UW

Hey…
I’m an international student and I’ve applied to NJIT. Haven’t received a decision yet.

I was down to NJIT and another school. I was ready to send my response to the other school but it just didn’t feel right so I’m going to NJIT :)

Commute is a 20 minute ride, my sister goes there, and a lot of my friends.
