<p>I meant UC Davis vs Cal Poly Pomona in campus beauty, not city. Actually, I think CPP is one of the nicest CSUs (I’ve visited SLO, LBSU and SJSU).</p>

<p>Did any of you get invited to apply to Kellogg Honors College?</p>
<p>my son received an invitation to apply to Kellog Honors college. He is also invited to attend the Showcase of Excellence on Jan 29, 2011. He cannot attend the Showcase of Excellence bec. of distance (we live outside of US mainland) and financial reasons, does anybody know if his non attendance to the showcase will affect his acceptence to the honors college?</p>
<p>I received the same thing. It’s not going to affect your son’s acceptance into the college at all, don’t worry about it. It’s just there to help kids know CPP better,</p>
<p>So I’m not sure why I applied to Cal Poly Pomona…I kind of did it on a whim…but the more I research the school and campus the more I think that I may end up going here. The “take a tour” video was very Soaring Over California-esque, but I’ve heard a lot of good about this school…</p>

I really wanted to go to Oregon but there’s no way we can afford out of state fees!</p>
<p>I know my GPA is low but it’s right in their average, and so are my SAT scores…and I’m hoping that I’ll have a better chance since I applied as an English major.</p>
<p>If anyone wants to let me know what they think my chances are, they’d be seriously helping out a psychotic, brain fried high school senior :)</p>
