Applied around Dec. 15. When should I find out my decision? I know I'm probably in based of my GPA (4.2 UCF GPA) and my current so-so 1120 SAT which isn't to bad even though I'm waiting for my Jan. SAT results which should be better. Plus I have good volunteer hours, e.c, awards, varsit tennis, etc.

I just want to find out from one college already.... Hopefully I find out before UF.

You should be okay. I’d say 2weeks

I also applied around that time. Never got a response so I emailed them. UCF said they recieved all my paperwork on Dec. 15. Most people said it takes 2-3 weeks. Im still checking the website, my email, and mail constantly for a notice :(. I hope i get accepted this school is my only shot.

^ What are you credentials like GPA and test scores? Their strength determines when you will get a response. I’ve been waiting since October and recently got an email basically confirming this.

^3.1 uw and 3.8 w
23 act . . . .yea. . . .
multiple cs hours, boy scout, tutoring, concessions, secme, breakdancing etc.
LOTS of AP and honor courses. I even have the AP scholar award.
And about your email, did it say you got in??

Not trying to be a ***** but 3.1 unweighted is extremely low for UCF 23 isn’t that good either for them

No it said they’re holding it until later in the semester in order to assess the applicant pool and see if my application becomes more competitive. Which I take as they’re waiting to see how many people are going to go to FSU and UF and then see if there is even room for me I guess. And ya your 23 would look better with a higher GPA but Idk 3.8 isn’t that bad. Are you instate ?

Oh, I took that as a 3.1 weighted. Thats werid though that yours is backwards.

Does being OOS hurt or help the chances of getting in?

Yea, I live in state and im a minority (if it matters :P). . . . . does for scholarships though :D.

^ Same lol hope it does lmao!

Yeah theres this OOS scholarship kinda thing that lets you pay instate tution. that would be nice.

Does anyone know where I can find the scholarships the give? On the portal it seems like all they had were ones that were from other organizations and such but not UCF?

I’m not sure, but I think everyone who applies and qualifies are considered

Yeah I was just wondering about them. I doubt I could get one.

I think you could don’t forget they offer scholarships to kids who probably are waiting on UF and so that means the scholarships that they leave behind are given to the newly admitted students. You can I think I only had like a 1690 and got a scholarship

lol my score is 150 points lower than yours. What was the scholarship ?

Got accepted for Fall! Yay.

Congratz!!! All you need now is scholarships! Well. . . . . Im still waiting >_<
