I never took calc/analytical geometry
I only took Business calc 1 and 2.
Will UCLA/Berkeley reject me automatically since calc/analytical geometry is the course equivalent?

You need to do whatever it is ASSIST says for your major.
Look at assist. Does what you took coincide with what they require?
Where I went to community college, “business calc” was called Analytic Geometry and Calculus, so I’m not sure quite what you’re asking, but, again, what doe ASSIST say for your major?
@briank82 Assist want’s calc/analytical geometry
I’ve done calc without it. It’s basically calc without trig.
Does that make me get auto rejected?
What program are you trying to get into?
If it says calc/analytical geometry and you didn’t do it, that isn’t good … but I don’t know the structure of math sequences (or naming) at your school so it’s hard to say, but not having done what they require usually isn’t a good sign.
What CC, what course number, what major?
@briank82 Business calc is never “Analytic Geometry and Calculus”. That’s the standard calculus sequence for STEM majors (classs 1-3).
@AgentXJP You’re trying way too hard.
My major requires a calc 1 and 2 sequence or a business calculus sequence. My business calc sequence was two 3 unit courses, and even in community college was called Analytical Geometry and Calculus. It’s not the math you take for STEM majors.
If the pre-req is taken at at UCB, you take their Analytical Geometry and Calculus (16A/B). Once again, 3 units as opposed to the 5 unit STEM calc (1A/B).
The math I took, Analytical Geometry and Calculus (which is business calculus), wouldn’t work for anyone even remotely interested in STEM. Not sure what to tell you other than I did what you said isn’t true.
@briank82 So im confused…i can or can’t?
Based on http://web2.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=aa&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=19&dir=1&sia=SOLANO&ria=UCB&ia=SOLANO&oia=UCB&aay=16-17&ay=16-17&dora=BUS+ADM , if you are at Solano Community College and want to transfer to UCB as a business major, you need to take either of the following:
SCC MATH 20 = UCB MATH 1A
SCC MATH 21 and 23 = UCB MATH 1B
OR
SCC MATH 30 = UCB MATH 16A
SCC MATH 31 = UCB MATH 16B
Have you taken SCC MATH 30 and 31, or SCC MATH 20, 21, and 23?
If you are at a different community college, which community college are you at, what are the course numbers of the math courses you took, and what major and UC/CSU do you want to transfer to? You can help people help you by giving this information.
You need to tell us what school you’re at and what program you want to get into.
With what you’ve given, nobody has enough information to help you.
