I scored a 5 on AP Calculus BC(Ab Sub-5) and have strong SAT math scores so I decided to head straight into Applied Calculus 3. Was this a smart Idea?(I am very motivated and have already started reading my textbook)

I think you’ll be fine. My friend went to MAT calc III in his freshman spring semester and all he took was AP high school calc. So that means he was out of a math class for a summer and the fall semester before taking calc III and he still did good in it.

I did the same thing in college. Depends on how mathy you are; if you’re a solid math student and you’re willing to put in the work, you’ll be okay.
