Applied for transfer to NYU and Vanderbilt. Wondering if my resume will get me in

I applied for transfer to NYU and vanderbilt. I have been accepted to a few schools so far with no rejections but am still waiting to hear a response from these schools. About me… I was a terrible student in high school and struggled to graduate. After I finished high school I went to travel and work around Australia for a year and a half before coming back home and working as a support teacher at a childcare center. Last April I took the leap to get back into school after tackling problems due to my ADD that hindered my high school education. I have currently finished a year of school and will be late in sophomore credit standings by the time I transfer. I currently have a 3.9 cumulative GPA and am part of my schools honor program as well as Phi Theta Kappa honors society. I also participate as a senator on student senate and the vice president of the schools business program. Outside of school I snowboard regularly, volunteer frequently for the National Alliance on Mental Illnesses, and actively participate in politics as an elected percent officer and frequently work aiding local campaigns in my area.
I am pursuing a degree in global business and marketing and am well aware of the extremely competitive nature of Sterns school of business at NYU. I placed economics as a second choice on my application just in case with the possible hope of transferring within NYU to sterns in the future. I am just curious if my resume of activities make me competitive to get into top schools like NYU and Vanderbilt.

Thanks!
