So I applied to UCF in november for the top ten knights program. The thing is, I forgot to send in the $30 application fee. I had in the application, my scores and my transcripts on time but the fee was just sent out. The top ten knights program ended january 15th but my stats are above all the 50% ranges for ucf. Do you guys think that I will still get in despite missing the TTK deadline? I sent in my application fee yesterday but I had to send it by mail because it wouldn’t allow electronic payments
If they bend the rules for you then it opens the floodgates for many.
Figure they will not accommodate you.
I’m not asking for accommodation. I understand that I missed the top ten knights deadline but that wasn’t my question. I just wanted to know if I could still get in. TTK is only for guaranteed admission but since i missed that deadline can I still be considered for normal application consideration? @ClarinetDad16

I almost laughed at your unhelpful ‘dad’ humor but then I realized that I came to ask a question on cc for actual advice and not sarcastic links that bring me to google. I had already googled that and many other questions prior to posting this question otherwise I wouldn’t had wasted my time making this thread.
Anyways… if anyone else wants to answer my question here it is a condensed form:
What are my chances at getting into UCF after the priority deadline for fall? My stats are high for UCF and I would like to still apply after missing the priority deadline but don’t wish to waste my money if no one gets in after this deadline. Any HELPFUL information will be much appreciated. Thank you!!
@ClarinetDad16
Thank you for that helpful link. If anyone in the future reads this thread, the final deadline is May 1st after the priority deadline so I’m assuming people do receive admissions afterwards.
UCF doesn’t have priority admission…rolling admissions.
I would think that your stats are MUCH higher than 50th percentile if you are applying to Top Ten Knights. Your application process does not begin until EVERYTHING is received. The fee, SAT scores, transcripts, etc all work together to signal the system to look at you.
Applying in January is late. You will most likely be offered admission if stats are high, but you will not hear from admissions office until March. Keep an eye on your account to see if they are missing any critical information (as listed above.) Be sure to accept (pay fee) and sign up for housing the very moment you are accepted. Last year, students not contracted for housing by early March were endlessly waitlisted. Know exactly where you want to live (rank several dorms) and be prepared to do an online payment.
