Applied Linguistics/TESOL anyone?

I'm just interested to see if anyone else here is looking into Applied Linguistics and/or TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). If so, what schools are you looking at? I'm probably applying to Maryland, UCLA, Georgetown, Columbia, Pitt, Wisconsin, maybe Indiana and Illinois...where are you looking at?

I'm probably not going to graduate school immediately after I graduate (2010), but after a year teaching abroad (either through Fulbright or another program) I plan on enrolling and getting into the field stateside. Random info: I an English major with a Spanish minor (focusing more on the languages than the culture/literature), and I studied abroad in Spain and volunteer at ESL programs, which is how I got interested in the field.

Yes, I’m applying this fall for the B.A program in Applied Linguistics at UCLA. I think it is the most interdisciplinary program that we can find in the nation nowaday, this is after checking Boston, Georgetown, portland, and Pennsylvania. I’m very happy that they opened it for undergraduates this fall, since it used to be reserved only for graduates.

They have a B.A. in Applied Linguistics now at UCLA? That’s really cool.
