Applied math at JHU

I am interested in applying to Johns Hopkins this winter and i just wanted to know how good the Applied Math program ifor undergrads? are there a lot of internship opportunities and how good is the education here? will JHU lead to a job on wall street or a big firm?

your record speaks for itself, doesn’t matter where you go. just need a little luck as you target on this specific school. if you apply to 10 similar schools/programs, you will certainly get into one of those.

You have great stats and I think you may find some stronger programs to apply to. NYU comes to mind.

NYU is extremely strong in applied math, but not as competitive as Hopkins generally. If your goal is finance, Hopkins Applied Math is probably a good possibility. I would apply to more competitive school than Hopkins. Not sure what level you will get into with ethnicity, but top Ivies all have good applied math now, and may be worth a shot with those stats.
