What does someone majoring in this see themselves doing once they graduate? Thanks.

Go to a college’s web site that lists the type of careers that an applied mathematics major got after graduating.

As for a general mathematics major, an actuary is a good fit. [Be An Actuary](http://www.beanactuary.com)

HA! Pretty much anything you want is the answer. Some go to engineering grad school or take engineering jobs, some go to wall street and do finance, some have careers in medical or genetics, some go into other scientific fields, some even go into forestry. You study math and something to use the math to do. The possibilities are endless.
