Hi guys,

I applied to Case, but didn't receive any email. Apparently this unattainable email had a link to a portal, and I was wondering if anyone could give me that link. I'd greatly appreciate it!

where did we get the pin to activate the cwru network ID? My “We Got It!” email confirming my application submission didn’t contain any PIN…

You should have received it in a email with a subject of “Case Western Reserve University Application Status” after applying. It will contain instructions on how to activate your student id.

I just looked through my inbox, I didn’t get that.

Could someone give me the exact email address the “CWRU Application Status” email was sent from?

"Dear [notaprincess],

I’m writing regarding your application to Case Western Reserve University. This email contains information on activating your CWRU Network ID and checking your application status.

Your Network ID will be important to reviewing your checklist of application materials, your admission decision online and any financial aid package that may be offered to you by the university. If you are offered admission and choose to enroll, your Network ID will be your key to unlocking important campus services such as e-mail and course registration as well as completing items in the new student portal.

Activating your CWRU Network ID

Start by visiting https://its-services.case.edu/my-case-identity/activate/
Enter your last name (also sometimes called your family name, or surname).
Enter your 7-digit Peoplesoft ID number (provided below)
Enter your date of birth.
Click the “Activate Account” button at the bottom of the page.
Your Peoplesoft ID: [insert 7 numbers here]
Follow the onscreen instructions to select a password, select a security question, and set up a 3rd party email address for password reset and retrieval. Be sure to follow the password complexity requirements and remember your CWRU Network ID and password!

If you experience any difficulty activating your CWRU Network ID, please contact the Case Western Reserve University Help Desk at 216-368-HELP(4357) or at help.case.edu.

Checking your application status

Activate your CWRU Network ID
Visit https://slatecwru.case.edu/status
The checklist will indicate documents that have been received by CWRU as well as documents outstanding and any note regarding changes to the status of your application. If you have already submitted missing documents and communicated with the Office of Undergraduate Admission, it is possible that our communications have been crossed and your checklist will be updated shortly. Thank you for your patience.

If I or any of the Undergraduate Admission staff can be of assistance or answer any questions, please contact us by sending an e-mail to admission@case.edu or calling 216-368-4450.

Best Regards,

^didn’t get that email. My Outlook account has been acting really funky…so I’m ****ed but not surprised. Checked all emails from admission@case.edu, still didn’t show up. Sent Bob & Crew an email, hopefully I’ll get a quick response! Thanks guys for helping me out!

Hi Iggy,

We did not get the email either so thank you for getting the status address. I did set up my account a time back so had no problems getting in. There was no decision posted for my DS so we must just wait longer.

Good luck

You all should call up the admissions office ASAP.

Quick update: I got my account, I got in, it’s all good. Thanks everybody!
