So just applied to Duke ED and honestly looking at people who have been accepted I do not know what is my chance.
My background: International ( Chinese) going to school in the US
GPA 94.29/100 weighted
ACT: 1st time: English 29 Math 34 Reading 27 Science 26 Composite 29
2nd time: English 30 Math 32 Reading 25 Science 28 composite 29
Extracurricular activities: Volunteer at church every week, FCA, Student athletic trainer, Tennis, Student ambassador, International club, Latin club, Internship…
Well you already submitted it, so no point in chancing now. Work on your other applications (if you have any left), study for school, have fun, relax, anything but worrying about this.

You won’t get in ED to Duke. But hopefully they will defer you and not reject you. Then you can take the ACT again and try to get the composite up. I would say you need at least a 32 for any chance at Duke
The low ACT score will definitely hold you back.
Take the ACT and or consider the SAT. if you get deferred then you will have a chance to give an update
That ACT score is dangerously low… AND you’re an international? I agree with wisteria; you won’t be getting in ED to Duke.
Even if you were to improve your ACT score to around 33-35, I hear competition for internationals (especially Chinese) is extremely tough, especially to a school as competitive as this one.
I am International… So far my super score is a 30 and I took it again and havent got the score back.
