YES I'M GONNA GO lolol. actually, here's the thing.. do i want to go into business for sure? i started rethinking all this stuff when i had to decide (initially) btwn NYU Stern and Northwestern... if wharton were my only top-notch school choice i wouldn't even give it a second thought.. but columbia's also an option now.

man i really love penn lol. but iffff i want to go into, say,.. ah dude. i'm 95% sure i'm going to penn =D

lol i still can't believe it. ooh btw my friend got into huntsman. it's btwn that and.. haaahvahd. XP he'll be going to huntsman day, tho!
i wanna buy out the whole penn store like right now. lol

Haha congrats! When one of my friends got in ED, he came in the next day fully clothed in Penn merchandise. He had a Penn hat, sweatshirt, pants and t-shirt under the sweatshirt. it was awesome.

congrats afaforce!

I applied to SEAS, I'm deciding btw MIT and Penn, both with great bioE programs.

!! MIT is amazing. lol, so is Penn, of course. Congrats to you too, haha

i wore my sweatshirt today but was cautious about it cuz our school was butchered w/ all this college stuff in general, and i didn't wanna rub it in or nething. erf

my asian peeps lol... keep a spot for me next year ;)

are you guys going to visit Penn in next few weeks?

I'm going to check in during Huntsman Day...YAY! First time visit, so I better like the place, or I'll NEVER hear the end of it from my parents...

hey manchu! i'm also deciding between MIT and Penn...im curious to know which way you're leaning? i was an ED deferree and as much as i hate to say it, its quite tempting to reject penn.

and afa, im totally feeling you on the unsure about business thing (by the way, congrats! deferree power!) I though I was sure when I applied to Penn...but now that MIT said yes, I'm rethinking the engineering route..GAH! Why couldnt they just accept us early and be done?

And by the way, I was so sure youd get in as soon as I saw the picture you sent them with the monkeys! Come on, how could you say no to a MONKEY???

ahh this decision is hard. What do you plan to major in? Upenn's giving me a pretty good finaid package but I haven't received my MIT one yet. MIT's program is a little better though. Are you going to CPW?

wait, catch, you applied ed w/o visiting?

i'm definitely going to cpw, if only to see what i'm going to be missing out on. i love the playful atmosphere of MIT and i feel like the school itself is a better fit for me, but im planning on majoring in business. whartons #1, and i feel like an mit diploma would be wasted without some sort of science major...its so hard to resist though. i wish i could have some combination of both.

hey, eighteen, MIT business is pretty amazing, too. seriously. engineering is so much work. i could personally not be able to handle it, but if you can do engineering that's a great boost for your career later on. it depends what field of business you want to go into, too. and i'm sure, if you can do it, you can double major or minor in something science-related.. anyhow, good luck w/ that decision =)

also...

LOL. i guess they finally gave in... X)

...yeah, the people on the other board have definitely convinced me back to penn =)

catch, you WILL love it. i'm biased, but you will love it.
the huntsman kids get the antisocial dorm tho. big rooms, but whatever, you'll be able to hang out w/ ur huntsman kids all the time.. and you'll manage.. kcech. but omg. they have "The TP," which is a ripoff of the DP. it's so great. they're posted on bathroom stalls. haha.

i'm going to preview on the 11th. it's like a holiday. marks my 3rd visit to penn. haha, i'm gonna be there for.. a lot of days in a row next year.

eighteenforluck - Sloan is also a really good business school, I know a lot of economics majors there. I guess you should just visit both schools and see which personality fits you better. Well I guess I'll see you at CPW =)

afaforce - Just curious, how much grant did Upenn give you?

mid to upper 20ishk, don't remember exactly

So where is everyone going next year?
