So I listed Rice as one of the colleges I’d be applying to for questbridge regular decision. But I didn’t look at the requirements and thought that they required the common app. I found out right now that they need the questbridge supplement thats designed specifically for them. Without knowing that, I sent in the common app along with the writing supplements. My question is: will Rice reject me immediately because I didn’t send in the questbridge supplement or do i still have a shot because I sent in the common app?
I don’t think that would really affect you that much. Since you have submitted your common app anyway, in the worst case, Rice would just consider you are doing the normal RD, and make the decision solely based on your common app.
And I guess the QuestBridge supplement is really just the same writing supplement Rice have on the common app.
Of course, the best thing to do is to ask Rice directly about it.
I saw the QB Supplement for rice, but it’s basically in the PDF form. So we have to submit it in writing?
