Applied to two majors??

Hi!

I applied Early Action to both Musical Theatre and LSA. On my Michigan portal, they come up as two separate applications completely. Now, I understand I won’t hear back about Musical Theatre on the early action decision date because I need to go to an audition and everything, but since they’re two separate applications, will I hear back about the LSA application?

You should hear back separately from LSA. if you accepted by LSA and subsequently by Musical Theatre, you should receive new paperwork that explains how to handle accepting one/both programs - at least that’s how it worked for my D with CoE and SMTD a couple years ago. If you go dual degree, Michigan is also good about handling orientation, etc. with both programs. Good luck!
