I applied Oct 30 for priority decision however I just realized today that Minnesota wants the writing portion of the ACT too.

Well I took both the ACT with and without writing, but I sent the one without writing with my application.

I scored high on the ACT (33), but do you think my application will be thrown out of priority decision since I forgot the writing section? They say on their website it's not a primary factor in decisions, but now I'm all worried.

look online again and see if writing is required for admission. if so, send out your score with the writing score on it. even if the overall score is lower than your 33, they would still consider the 33.

Same here! I applied in early July and sent scores, but just realized that I sent ACT WITHOUT Writing! I just sent in ACT w/ writing scores today…will it still be a priority application?

I’m sure your application will still be considered but a high chance not as priority since the school wants ACT with writing or the new SAT.

They went ahead and still considered in a priority application. How thoughtful!
