apply directly into the business schools?or the school itself first?

<p>can someone tell me about applying to college with business as major?for universities like UMichigan, Carnegie Mellon, NYU, UVA,U. of Texas–Austin, UNC, Indiana University–Bloomington, do i just apply to the school itself and automatically gets into their undergrad business program if i list finance as my major, or do i have to apply directly to the program??
some plz help clarify!!! thanks</p>

<p>This applies only to NYU. You must apply to a single college (there are seven UG colleges), therefore on the application you must specify Stern. You may apply as "undecided" if you choose, instead of specifying a major such as Finance. If you are not accepted you will not be considered as an applicant for any of the other colleges and, if you applied ED, you will not be deferred to the RD pool.</p>
