<p>When you apply for COM and don’t qualify, will Boston University suggest CGS? Will they say that you are accepted admission to CGS and not COM? I’m not really familiar with how this works.</p>
<p>You can apply directly to CGS, but they will also accept some people who applied to other colleges into CGS.</p>
<p>Yes I believe you are right.. they'll accept you as either a student in COM or CGS... from what ive heard, that is how it works out for a lot of kids who try to get into COM but got into CGS instead.</p>

<p>Well keep in mind that they could reject you from COM and not accept you into CGS at all. CGS tends to be a lot of borderline students who didn't meet certain stats to get into CAS, COM, SMG, etc. Do you feel that your stats match up to that of COM or CGS?</p>
