I was wondering if I should apply now or later. I'm retaking the ACT in October and my score should improve. Can I submit my common app for EA now? Will they update my info when thy receive my score?

I think it would be better to apply once you have taken the ACT so u will send only your best scores. Also it will be better to send ur scores etc in once so the admissions office wont have to wait for other scores and u will mabe have ur admission response sooner than others !

Should I wait to see the score before I send it to them? I know ACT will charge me but I’d rather do that then send a lower score

What did you get on your original ACT? Also, what’s your GPA?

ACT 27 (going for 31, I know my problems) and GPA 3.9 UW

I would wait before sending them. 27 isn’t a terrible score at all; I personally would work hard on my essays and getting good recs, and when those come should be when you submit your application.

i wouldn’t wait before sending them. Apply now and send your ACT from October before seeing it, you probably won’t get in with a 27 anyway so if its worse it doesn’t matter. waiting just wastes money and time

On the Wolverineaccess (which you will start to use once you submit your app), you will be able to check to see what scores/transcripts have been received.

Send your stuff in whenever as long as it’s before the Early Admissions deadline. Last year I retook my ACT after I sent half of my stuff in and they only took the best score (which ended up being my last one). Even if you don’t do much better I think they look at the essays most off all so right now work on those. I sent my application in on October 30th last year and I still found out on December 17th so you don’t have to do it right now as long as it’s before the deadline.
