<p>Those seem to be decently strong stats. If you feel passionate about caltech, then you have very little to lose and everything to gain, so apply.</p>

<p>In 2008 common data set, 237 of 806 females were admitted for 29% admit rate vs 370/2791 = 13% for males. I’d say those are pretty good odds for you.</p>

<p>Your stats are enough, but you need to exhibit a passion for science, math, or engineering. Most people try to show that in their essays etc. If you have a passion for the above things, you should definitely apply. If you don’t however, it would be best if you didn’t.</p>
