Do you guys think it would be better to apply Restrictive Early Action to Stanford without the SAT Subject Tests, or apply Regular Decision and take the Subject Tests 11/06?

Some brief stats about me:
Rank: 1/537
GPA: 4.4~ (weighted)
SAT: 760 Math, 740 Critical Reading, 690 Writing (2190 total)
Involved in National Honor Society, Key Club, UIL Academic Team, etc.
All AP classes, (4 on Computer Science A, 5's on English Lang. and US History)

I've only applied to public schools (Georgia Tech, Purdue) and rolling-admissions ones (USNA, USMA), so I should be apply to apply REA right?

Thanks for the help. :)

^ You have very similar stats to me and I am taking the Subject Tests in November also(haven’t taken yet). I am opting to do REA but it’s really just a choice. I have a legacy and slightly higher test scores (34 ACT). Since Stanford is my first choice it makes sense to me to apply early.

If it’s your first choice go for it. If you get in it’s sweet and you’re done. If you don’t then you can just focus on other schools.

Are you saying they will still consider the Subject Tests scores from 11/06, or that you’re applying without those scores, but still taking the tests for other colleges?

The latter. I’m fairly certain that they don’t consider November test scores for REA but I could be wrong.
