Apply Texas Essay A

<p>The prompt is: Describe a setting in which you have collaborated or interacted with people whose experiences and/or beliefs differ from yours. Address your initial feelings, and how those feelings were or were not changed by this experience.</p>

<p>I know that religion is a controversial topic, but I wrote about an encounter I had with a girl who would constantly lash out at me for my Christian beliefs (I was the president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes). I wrote about how my initial feelings were of uneasiness and frustration, but then after seeing her point of view, I realized that I had to be more aware about others' past experiences regarding the judgment they faced by Christians. I wanted to focus on the broadening of my perspective on the situation. What do you guys think? Is it too touchy?</p>

<p>I am also using apply texas for my colleges and I think you’re fine! I feel like if you aren’t to opinionated in your essay you will be good to go.</p>
