<p>Hey guys and girls I'm currently 11th grade international student. By today I don't have neither test results nor recomendations and essays. Should I wait until next fall or try this fall? </p>

<p>You are behind the curve for this year’s application season, but it’s not too late. You can still sign up for SAT and ask your teachers to submit recommendations. Regular decision deadlines won’t be here until January and some schools allow applications even later. If you aren’t accepted this time around, you could take a productive gap year and try again next year.</p>

<p>Is the 11th grade the last year you expect to remain in high school? If so, you should be planning to apply in the October-December 2014 with the goal to start school in Sept 2015.</p>
<p>Most American applicants apply during their 12th year – not before.</p>
