apply to college for free?

are there any colleges that do not charge an application fee? (besides community colleges)

This was posted in another forum: Here's a helpful website for schools that offer free applications for a variety of reasons (as usual always double check with the college website):

US Service Academies don't charge applications fees.

Your counselor can also give you a maximum of four collegeboard application fee waivers if you've also gotten waivers for SAT testing due to your family's financial situation. A large number of colleges/universities accept these collegeboard waivers, signed by your guidance counselor, in place of a check.

i couldn't get SAT fee waivers but I got AP waivers, so does that count as well?
