How to know if you applied to an early decisions/ early admissions college?
Also I applied to a college but didn’t send my transcripts is it possible to still get accepted
There is usually a spot to check on the common app for what type of application you are submitting (haven’t been in the new version, not sure where it is). Some colleges only offer regular decision. But you better check, as ED is binding, and you must attend if admitted.
I suppose a low ranked college taking all warm bodies might accept you without a transcript. The best thing to do is look at the admissions website page and see what they require, and make sure it is all sent in. Your high school guidance counselor typically sends an official transcript for you, but you have to tell them what college to send it to.
When you apply, you often get an email with information on logging into a portal to see the status of your app. You can often see if there are missing items, like your transcript. Go check that, too. Many colleges will not read your app until they have all the pieces they require (application with any supplement needed, admission fee or waiver if there is a fee, transcripts, any required recommendations, and any required test scores). The test scores need to come from the testing services – you order them to be sent to a specific school, and they send them.
