Whoo... sorry that was a lot but I'm nervous out of my mind... Thanks!

Should I apply to Dartmouth ED?

what’s your rank?

and you should try to boost your math SAT

My school doesn’t rank.

I know I’m shooting fir a 720, but right now that’s what it is for

You are looking pretty good. You have great SATs, great GPA, and very diverse, yet good ECs. All you need is a great essay to show what makes you truly exceptional and you seem like a solid candidate. :)

Thanks I hope my essay is good!

Hi,
U have an excellent chance at ED. From my school, our ED rates into it is 57%,
avg GPA of matriculant: 3.77
avg SAT: 2150

As you can see, i would say you might be overqualified lol. Excellent EC’s write an essay that shows commitment and dedication.

Chance back if you get a chance:

A lot depends on the pool you’re competing with. Are stronger students applying from your school? Are you from an overrepresented state?

Dartmouth only takes 400 ED. Most are sthletes, legacies, development, staff kids…

They love 800 CRs. You math is well under median.
40 hours at McDonalds during the school year? If yes, they may love that. Especially if you’re low income and you do it to help your family. But nothing else jumps out and much just depends on the pool from which you come.

I’m from SC so it’s an underrepresented state (I think)
No one else from my school will be applying ED
I’m retaking the SAT tomorrow so I hope I can bring the math up, if I can how significantly will that increase my chances?
I do work 40 hrs, but not to support my family or any of that jazz, I do put half of it towards college though if that helps

I also meant to add my SAT II scores which are 780 US, 750 lit, 740 Bio M

Love the McDonalds. Fast food experience is underrated.

Hah I know it’s the hardest job ever

I would write your essay about working full time at McDonalds while attending high school. It will truly make you stand out.
