Apply to freshman instead of transfer?

Does anyone know whether one can apply as a freshman if one is currently enrolled in a 4 year university but has not even completed one year there yet?

From what I know you would be an undergraduate transfer because you finished SOME units, but have not passed beyond the 60-unit sophomore line yet. If you did not finish a semester yet you'll be able to enroll as a freshman again. You'll be placed whether as a transfer or freshman according to accumulated units.

are you planning to enroll in a 4-year university next year and then apply as a freshman to harvard? or are you a freshman now? because, for starters, the undergrad application period is over for this year, and (if this year's trend is repeated) there are no transfer applicants accepted. On the bright side, i would assume that you could apply as a freshman based on the inability to apply as a transfer, although they'd probably want to see your grades so far in college. hope that helps...
