I really want to apply to UPenn, but I live in Illinois and I've only taken the ACT. Can I apply without a SAT score?

yes you cann. ACT can replace the SAT + 2 subject tests.

u dont have to take the sat reasoning but i thought they still wanted 2 subject tests

im not sure about that though...i would say take 2 subjects tests if u can bcuz it wont hurt unless u get owned (in which case do not take it) --- unless u have to that is

you can apply with only the ACT as long as it also includes the writing. My DD only took the ACT with writing and she got accepted into the class of 2012.

I only submitted my ACT and got in.

cool thanks a lot. i plan on starting the app today

The people who said that they got in and only submitted their ACT scores, what were your scores and which school did you apply to?

what cardinals4lyfe said, i'd like to know that too!

it's irrelevant.

my D had a composite score of 31, don't remember the exact breakdown and she applied to SEAS.
