Apply with current SAT's or wait to retake

<p>I want to apply to virginia tech, but my SAT math score is very low. Should I apply now or wait to retake the test?</p>

<p>I got to a very competitive public school in Pittsburgh
GPA-3.2(very bad start in high school)

My mom went to Virginia Tech.
excellet recomendations and essays
I hope to study political science and history in college.</p>

<p>So how do my chances look with my current stats? Should I wait to retake the SAT's before I apply?
