Okay, my tentative plan is to finish undergrad in three years and get into med school right after I graduate. I know getting in regularly is hard by itself, but I was wondering, so medical schools look down upon people who graduate one year early? Assuming the rest of my application is decent.

Are you planning to matriculate immediately after your 3 years of undergrad? If so, when are you planning on taking the MCAT?

Yes, I do plan to matriculate immediately. Well, I would plan on taking the MCAT during the mid to late-mid of my second year. I think the computerized MCATs will be offered in early 2007, so I would have more of a choice when taking them.

But would med school look down upon early applicants?

I am trying it right now, I'll let you know. But you better have a reason for graduating early.

We're advised that we want to have three years of coursework when we apply to medical school to give yourself more of a "track record" when applying. I've never heard of anybody trying it, much less trying and failing, so who really knows.

We'll find out in a few months. Haha I hate being the guinea pig.

yes, keep us informed! :)

Hey **funnyman **I have the same goals as you. What extra curic activities are you doing? I'm taking the MCAT's in spring '08- how about you?
