<p>Hi. I am on winter break and have came across a few colleges that really interest me and I would like to apply to them. However, their deadlines for RD are Jan. 1. I don't go back to school for a few days after the 1st. If I send my SAT scores, commonapp and supplements, and request my school transcript and guidance rec when I get back to school, will it be too late? will my application not be considered if my school forms are not postmarked before the deadline? if not, it's not a huge deal, I'm already applying to a good number of schools.</p>

<p>Your application may not be considered if forms are not postmarked by Jan 1st… though you could try ( at risk) just submitting your application forum before it close as they will at the least have that keeping your foot in the door some.</p>

<p>Schools typically want the students’ parts of the application in on time, but are OK with a delay receiving the transcript, scores and recommendations.</p>
