I want to be an accountant and attending a community college right now and my declared major is Business Administration. However, when I apply to different UC or CSU, some majors are named differently and I was wondering if that mattered? For example, I also want to apply to UC Davis but it is under Managerial Economics but it requires the exact same prerequisites as the ones from UC Riverside. So when I am applying, does it matter what I declare as my major at community college and still apply to both UC’s? Or do I have to specifically declare that I am a Managerial Economics major to apply to Davis?
