Applying as a liberal arts major

I'm only making this thread because I've seen a few people on this board getting rejected to the Northeastern business school with VERY good stats, such as a 3.8-3.9 GPA, which is the range I'm currently in. Do you guys think the college of arts and sciences is that much easier to get into, or is the admissions process so unpredictable that I really shouldn't look into it? I just haven't read too many posts about people applying to the college of arts and sciences at Northeastern. Anybody with the experience?

If you want to be a business student do not apply to CAS. It’s very difficult to internal transfer from CAS to business (most people get rejected). Plus how hard it is to get in varies greatly on your major, so there is no “if you apply as this, you’ll get in” solution.

Not a business student, I actually want to major in philosophy. I’m just being inquisitive.
