Hello! I'm planning on transferring into Rutgers University: New Brunswick and Newark for the 2014 Spring Session. Someone had told me that it extremely difficult, and competitive to transfer in at Spring even for School of Arts and Sciences, is this true? I will only have a semester of college courses completed at a community college such as Psychology, English, Calculus, and Government (will be taking these in October.) I've also been told that they will focus on my high school academic record. IDK if this matters, but my academic interests I indicated on my application were Public Health, Exercise Science, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, and Biological Sciences.

High School Info:
- Graduated 9 of 54 students with a 3.68 GPA: Freshman Year - 3.429, Sophomore Year - 3.786, Junior Year - 3.571, Senior Year - 3.923
- I've completed four years of English, Math, Social Studies, and Sciences. Was in Honors for Sophomore Year, took a couple of semesters of AP English, and most of my classes were a balance between rigorous and average.
- SAT Scores totaled to 1530: Writing - 520, Critical Reading - 490, and Math - 520

Note: I applied last year for Fall 2013, and I was accepted to School of Arts and Sciences, but decided not to attend at this time.

Will I be able to get in, again?
