Applying as a Transfer (Fall '07)

<p>Hey there! I was deferred, then waitlisted, the rejected by UMich last year, though I harbor no hard feelings. I still love the school and would love to attend, but just a few questions about applying as a transfer. If I retake my SATs, would Michigan accept the new scores? The reason I ask is b/c I am also applying to NYU and they do not accept any standardized test scores from tests you took once out of high school. Also, is transfer admission rolling as well? I am applying to the School of Kinesiology as a Sports Management major, which has a due date of Feb. 1st. However, I haven't yet submitted an app because my Fall Term grades aren't even through (I haven't even started finals). Does anyone know the turn around time for transfer applicants?</p>

<p>And the questions, I don't know about the first one, but as for the second, no, they are not rolling admissions.</p>

<p>you should call them, i'm in the EXACT same situation, even an app to transfer to NYU :)</p>

<p>I've heard that you shouldn't retake from the advisor however from the people who answer the calls suggest retaking...</p>
