applying as undecided

when I filled out my app for UCLA (Berkeley too), I put undecided on all my majors. I didn't know that majors were taken into account for admissions.

is this bad? Will this affect my chances? I'm interest in economics, chemistry, and biology -- should I change my major?

thanks

majors AREN’T taken into account as long as the majors you applied in are under the same school. since undeclared, econ, chem, and bio fall under UCLA’s College of Letters and Sciences, you’re safe. all four majors will be considered equally when you apply.

ok, thanks. people seem to make a huge deal out of which major they apply for.

It is a big deal, you’re just postponing the inevitable.
