Applying CAS ED as music major??

I would REALLY like to attend UPenn because after visiting last month, I just fell in love with the school. But because my gpa is very low, I don't think I really stand a chance. Would my chances even slightly increase if I were to apply as a music major through early decision?

Here are my stats

I attend a (mildly) tough public high school in NY State. I am an Asian (first generation) female.

My gpa after junior year is around 3.3 UW (I know..). My school does not do weighted gpas, valedictorians, class rank.

I’m pretty sure the major you list in your app plays very little, if any at all, of a role in admissions. Think about it, if it did, how many premed applicants would list art history and then “change their mind” once they attend?
