Is it possible to apply early to a school even if you don't have your subject test right away?

I'm planning to take my SAT reasoning october and subject test november. I found that some schools require the subject test, but unfortunately i won't have them in time.

Could i still apply early and have my scores rushed and just indicate on my application that I have the scores rushed?

examples of schools might be yale/harvard.

I'm not saying I plan to apply to them, I just want to know more about the entire process.

On another thread recently we had a discussion about this. Someone had done the research and found that all the Ivies and a number of other schools accept the results of November testing in their ED/EA programs.

Go to web sites of the specific schools you are interested in to make sure, of course. (If you don't find the information right away, try the instructions for the applications -- they should be very specific about sending test scores.)
