<p>Hi! So it seems like the acceptance rate for Elon EA is lower than RD. Why is this? Is it worth it to apply EA? I'm a good student (4.0 GPA (unweighted, don't know my weighted by heart), 28 on the ACT, took 5 APs and got 4s and a 5, and many community service hours). Should I apply EA?! </p>

<p>This is a great question for the Elon forum. In fact, if you’re handy with ‘search’ (upper right) you’ll find previous threads there. One reason you’ll find EA is lower as they also offer ED. Most schools offer one or the other. When you offer both it makes sense the lions share is going to those ready to commit, ED. Also, Elon is a demonstrated interest school. They want to know you have a true interest in their school through attending a program in your area, visit to campus, contact with your area rep, etc. They want students who have made an effort to get to know about Elon and know it’s a good match when they apply.</p>
