<p>Hi, I'm a senior whose interested in applying EA to UMich. But before I do so, I'd like to know how to fill out the UMich's Academics section on the CommonApp if I'm interested in pursuing business at Ross. Ross doesn't appear on the list of U-Mich colleges to apply to and business doesn't appear in the Area(s) of Interest Section, so how do I fill it out on the CommonApp?</p>
<p>You select which school you are applying to out of the options (LSA, CoE, etc.) then in a separate question there should be an option to check a box, indicating that you are applying for a preferred admissions program to the b-school. </p>
<p>Do I have to apply for preferred admission to get into Ross?</p>
<p>If you have high stat, do try pre-admit to Ross. It is competitive, but you will be guaranteed to get into Ross if admitted. Otherwise, you apply to enter Ross in sophomore year after you are admitted to UMich. There are now also Ross/engineering double major that you may apply on the app.</p>
<p>is it hard to get into Ross during sophmore year? </p>
<p>I think the sophomore admission rate was around 37%. But that is 37% of UMich freshmen that applied to Ross, not HS graduate applicants.</p>
