EC: Marching band, Winter Percussion, Church youth leadership, Church Youth Choir, Volunteer with special needs color guard, play guitar, cello, piano, clarinet, vibraphone, marimba, and bass drum. Science Olympiad (NY state tournament freeman year, National Tournament sophomore year), mock trial.

So do I even stand a chance? I know its not all about statistics, my essays will be decent.

My son had slightly better SAT slightly worse GPA similar AP and decent ECs and got in early decision this year. You have a very good shot.

She’s applying for the PT program though which is very hard to get into. I have a friend with a 2200+sat and high gpa who didn’t get into it (yes i know, stats aren’t the only thing that matters) but in general, i know that these types of accelerated programs tend to be much harder to get into than just the liberal arts school of a university
