  • Higher acceptance rate
  • Know if you got in earlier</p>

<p>Con

  • Being bound to attend is bad if it’s not your #1 choice
  • Doesn’t allow you time to compare financial aid offers from different schools, which can end badly
  • You may want to get in the extra semester/scores from later months</p>

<p>A con is that many students change a great deal and also develop more insight into themselves during their senior year. Consequently, for some, the type of college or the college that they wish to attend in April differs greatly from the type of college they wish to attend in Dec.</p>
